The Great Wall...

Here are pictures from our trip to the Great Wall. We went our first week in China.

The spot we went to was in the middle of the Chinese rain forest! There was think fog all the way along, and when the breeze blew just right you could see down into the thick trees below and hear the calls of jungle birds and the buzz of insects. It was so amazing! But then again of course it was... it was the Great Wall of China for peat sake. :)

Take a look...

Taiyuan and The Kids...

Wow! I can't believe that I've now lived outside of the US for over one month! Crazy. The teaching is going really well. Everyday I teach sixty 6 year-olds in the evening, and around thirty-five 9-12 year-olds in the mornings.

Here is my homeroom class with the 6 year-olds. There are actually ten of them, but the last one, Frank, transferred in late, and I don't have a picture of him yet. Aren't the adorable though??? :)

I love teaching my little kids. They can be very stressful at times, but they are hilarious, so it totally makes up for it. They are sweet hearts too. Especially Sara, Brooke, Kyle and Ashley. Ha ha, Andy is the total class clown. Matt and Ben and Frank are all typical boys. And Emily is a sweetie too, very quiet.

I love our city! I really need to write a post about the city, but not today. Soon though!

Sorry if the music is annoying... :)
